Orthodontics And Fixed Bridgework

Before picture of a patient with congenitally missing lateral incisor teeth

Braces were used in this 55 year old patient to move the front teeth into proper position

Fixed bridges were used to replace congenitally missing lateral incisor teeth.

This patient is congenitally missing his lateral incisors, that is, he was born without the two teeth that are normally located next to the front teeth.  Through the use of orthodontic appliances, we brought the canines (eye teeth) back and closed the gap between the front teeth to make enough room for artificial teeth.  Then, bridgework was prepared and cemented in permanently.

A happy patient with a dazzling smile where fixed bridges were used to replace congenitally missing lateral incisor teeth.
