BONDING

To Create A Winning Smile

Before Picture of Missing Lateral Incisors
This patient is congenitally missing her lateral incisors, that is, she was born without the teeth that are normally located next to the front teeth.  Since the teeth were missing, the canine teeth (eye teeth) filled up the spaces.  By layering the filling material that is normally used for filling front cavities over the surface of the teeth, we were able to drastically alter the appearance of her teeth.  The pointed canines were made to look like incisors (front teeth) and the bicuspids (back teeth normally used for chewing) were made to look like canines.  We carefully dimensioned and spaced these to give a beautiful, natural smile.
